I Wanted to Write About the Sublime, 2020

In my bachelor thesis, I question the struggle between being, doing and thinking. By reshaping Kant’s notion of the sublime, I show how moments of lucidity could generate a sublime experience. The underlying theme is universal and existentialist, and the work exemplifies how an artistic viewpoint and field of interest can be explored in a prose style of writing. The rhizomatic thought process, a recurring theme in this thesis, is mirrored in the final design of the work, a folded poster which invites the reader to choose their reading path.
